Klaipedos Smelte is a modern and thrusting container terminal located in the ice-free port of Klaipeda (Lithuania) and catering vessels of Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and other shipping lines. In 2023 564.314 TEU were handled by the terminal, including transhipment cargo for neighboring countries of the Baltics. MSC Ingy, a containership of 19.462 TEU capacity and 400 meters in length, remains the largest vessel ever accommodated by the company. Klaipedos Smelte is fully owned by Terminal Investment Limited (TIL), a branch of MSC Group.
