Steel products, palletized or baled commodities are just a fraction of cargoes unloaded from or loaded into DV, HC or OT containers and lorries. Besides the cross-docking, storage of commodities in open yards is available in the terminal, all within bonded area linked to container yards by internal shunters. Although the priority activity of Klaipedos Smelte container terminal is servicing of MSC line vessels this is successfully complemented by a CFS cargo service, ensuring greater convenience for customers.
