Largest containership of MSC fleet arrived to “Klaipedos Smelte”

On December 20, 2018 the record size of 400 meter-long and 59 meter width ULCV (Ultra Large Container Vessel) containership „MSC INGY“ successfully arrived on a test call in the Klaipeda seaport and was moored to the berths of JSSC „Klaipedos Smelte“ container terminal. Vessel capacity – 19.462 TEU and a maximum draught -16,00 m.
From the list of 500 seaports worldwide that MSC containerships are calling, only 38 of them are ready to accept and handle ULCV class containerships.
