Klaipedos Smelte continues the development of Container Terminal

Stevedoring company Klaipedos Smelte and Baltic Willenbrock one of the leading companies in the Baltic countries by trading volume for ports, airports and public utility vehicles signed a contract on purchase of new terminal trucks, value of transaction - about 8 million Litas. Klaipedos Smelte by developing container terminal has ordered 19 new Terberg RT223 series trucks, which will be produced and delivered to Klaipeda in 2012. It is the largest order of such type terminal trucks in the Baltic countries.

Dutch company's produced terminal trucks Terberg are renowned in the world for its reliability and quality. The new terminal trukcs are vital to any container terminal operations, their main function - to serve STS (ship-to-Shore)-type cranes and transport containers from crane workplace to the container storage area and back.
